Consulting cases typically have four components:
1. The Case Proposal
In the case proposal, authors indicate (a) their professional expertise, (b) the client: the consulting case company, (c) the challenge that the client is currently facing, and (d) sources of data that the authors plan to collect for the case.
2. The Company Case
THE COMPANY CASE includes the following: (a) the case opening, (b) company information, (c) industry and market information, (d) the situation that triggered the challenge, and (e) the question that needs an answer.
The CONSULTING REPORT includes (a) applied frameworks, (b) case analysis, and (c) recommendations for solving the challenge and implementing the solution.
3. The Consulting Report
The CONSULTING REPORT includes (a) frameworks applied for analyzing the case and solving its challenge, (b) case analysis, and (c) recommendations for solving the challenge and implementing the solution. This is the value you generate.
4. The Brief
The CASE BRIEF is a structured synopsis of the consulting case. It includes (a) the challenge, (b) the scope of analysis and solutions, and (b) expected outcomes for the company.
It becomes a piece for the authors’ professional portfolio.
Consulting cases can address any business, organizational, or individual challenges. It allows authors to establish their expertise and craft their edge as problem-solvers and consultants.

How do we know it works?
Till date, we have successfully developed consulting cases for over 840 individuals across 23 countries and various companies.
Have all of them secured a job? While some have, others did not but received valuable referrals. A few individuals chose to pursue case consulting as a career path rather than traditional 9-to-5 jobs. In the meantime, while you’re waiting for the next competition, you can practice and sharpen your skills by taking our free courses!
If you are new to case consulting or entering a new field, we recommend starting with the Becoming a Case Consultant (BCC) to practice for a real case client and learn the basics of case consulting. MYCC is a more advanced level of case consulting, so it’s ideal to build your foundation with BCC first before taking on MYCC.
