BE-EDGE WINTER INTERSHIP PROGRAM 2024

Job Description:

As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and editing video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and goals. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. Your role will involve brainstorming creative ideas, scripting, filming, editing, and optimizing videos to maximize reach and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and produce compelling video content to support marketing strategies.
  • Edit footage into finished videos.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve content quality.

 

Job Specification:

Education: No formal education required; a background in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: Experience in creating video content as a hobby or passion project; professional experience is not necessary, but a portfolio of personal projects is preferred.

  • Basic proficiency in video editing software (e.g.,Capcut, Final Cut Pro, Canva) or willingness to learn.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Community Management Associate to help foster and grow our online community. In this role, you will engage with our audience across various social media platforms, respond to comments and inquiries, and help build a positive and active community. You will collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that resonates with our community and continuously learn from the audience to refine our strategies. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the community across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tiktok) by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Assist in developing and executing community engagement strategies to increase interaction and build brand loyalty.
  • Monitor community sentiment and report on feedback, trends, and potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Listen to and learn from the audience to better understand their preferences, needs, and behaviors, and use this insight to enhance community engagement and content strategies.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content in our Facebook group that aligns with the brand’s voice and community interests. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative content ideas and campaigns.

As part of the BE-EDGE team, she has had the privilege of working with Professor Julia Ivy on the Consult-A-Thon 2024. This experience has been incredibly rewarding for Mihika, as she has had the opportunity to meet with clients and learn directly from Professor Ivy.

As a business student, helping small business owners excites and motivates Mihika to do better. This core aspect of the Consult-A-Thon makes it even more enjoyable for her.
