Majority of MYCC Participants Earn Client Recommendations, Proving the Power of Case Consulting

The Making Your Consulting Case (MYCC) has released results highlighting its unique impact on professionals preparing for career transitions, consulting roles, and leadership opportunities.

According to recent participant outcomes, 87% of MYCC participants received recommendations from their case clients after completing the program.

This figure underscores its central promise: case consulting doesn’t just simulate real-world problem solving — it builds trust and credibility with organizations.

“A resume can only go so far,” said Dr. Julia Ivy, founder of BE-EDGE and lead facilitator of the MYCC Workshop. “Case consulting allows professionals to prove their multidimensional value. When clients see that, they often become strong advocates.”

The MYCC Workshop invites participants to:

  • Identify a company of their choice

  • Develop a consulting case based on a real challenge

  • Apply the E-D-G-E framework to demonstrate problem-solving skills

  • Present actionable insights directly to decision-makers

The results speak for themselves: participants leave with consulting deliverables, stronger portfolios, and professional recommendations that carry weight in their industries.

Who Should Join?
The program is designed for professionals considering career transitions, educators and consultants seeking to expand their influence, and graduates of Master’s or Doctoral programs who want to showcase their readiness for the market.

Upcoming Workshop Details:

  • Proposal Deadline: September 30, 2025

  • Workshop Date: October 1, 2025
